Do you know, Elasmobranch species (shark, ray, skate and chimera) have live as long as Jurrasic period (145 - 205 million years ago). Since, they are cartilaginous (don't have bone); they are not preserved/fossilise well. At least, they can speak from their dorsal spine and tooth.

Tahu kah kamu, jenis elasmobranch (hiu, pari, skate dan chimera) telah hidup sejak zaman Jurrasic (sekitar 145-205 juta tahun yang lalu). Karena mereka jenis hewan bertulang rawan, maka mereka tidak terawetkan/terfosilisasi dengan baik. Meskipun begitu, mereka bisa berbicara lewat fosil duri sirip punggung dan gigi yang tersisa.
